ASSA ABLOY is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Web Developer to join its engineering and digital solutions team in Chennai. The role involves contributing to the development of modern web applications, participating in the full software development lifecycle, and collaborating with senior engineers to build scalable, secure, and user-friendly digital experiences. Roles & Responsibilities:
• Work with team members to understand requirements and assist in analysis, development, and testing activities.
• Build responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and routine technical discussions.
• Prepare documentation for features, updates, and internal use as required.
• Support project activities such as builds, deployments, and QA cycles.
• Contribute to troubleshooting production issues under guidance from senior developers.
• Learn emerging tools, frameworks, and technologies as part of continuous development.
• Ensure adherence to development guidelines, coding standards, and organizational workflows.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
• Basic exposure to C#, .NET, or similar technologies is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio Code or Visual Studio 2022.
• Good logical thinking, debugging skills, and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and collaborate in team-based environments.
