Medpace is recruiting fresh graduates for the position of Junior Data Engineer. This is a full-time, office-based role in the IT department and is a good opportunity for candidates who want to start a career in data engineering.

Role Overview
The Junior Data Engineer will work with the IT team on projects that manage and organize company data. The job involves preparing data so that it can be used for reporting and analysis.
Typical tasks include:
Creating and maintaining data pipelines
Checking and improving data accuracy
Supporting data storage and modeling systems
Writing queries in SQL and scripts in Python
Working with other teams to make data reliable and secure
Key Responsibilities
Use database and data warehouse technologies like Snowflake, SQL Server, and T-SQL
Assist with ETL/ELT processes using tools such as dbt, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS
Build dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
Gather and document business requirements
Perform testing and validation of data solutions
Follow software development stages from design to maintenance
Coordinate with team members on development and processes
Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar field
Internship experience in data/software engineering preferred
Basic knowledge of SQL databases is mandatory
Understanding of data modeling concepts (Star and Snowflake schemas)
Familiarity with REST APIs and reporting concepts
Preferred Skills
Snowflake cloud warehouse, Fivetran, dbt
Python programming
C# or Azure knowledge (optional advantage)
Good analytical thinking and communication skills
