Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 1 to 4 years of total experience, with at least 1 year in core technical skills

• Experience in development, implementation, or support of core banking applications

• Basic knowledge of banking systems and digital banking solutions

• Willingness to learn Oracle Banking technologies and tools

Primary Skills Required

Applicants should have knowledge or hands-on experience in:

• Core Java, J2EE, and Microservices

• Spring Boot, JavaScript, and XML

• Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (12c or 18c preferred)

• Coding, customization, unit testing, and application development

• Deployment and troubleshooting on Oracle WebLogic Server

• Release management and version control tools

• Issue tracking and coordination with technical teams

• Understanding of banking concepts and terminology

• MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Good communication and documentation skills in English

Secondary Skills (Preferred)

• Knowledge of SDLC and software development practices

• Exposure to Cloud and SaaS platforms

• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps tools

• Experience using testing tools

• Awareness of Oracle middleware tools such as OBIEE, BIP, and Fusion SOA Suite

Work Environment & Expectations

• Willingness to work from offshore locations or travel to client sites if required

• Ready to complete Oracle Banking or FLEXCUBE certifications when needed

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment

• Team-oriented approach

• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts based on project demands

Roles & Responsibilities

As an Associate Consultant at Oracle, you will:

• Work as part of a technical team in development, implementation, or managed services

• Support activities like migration, integration, and testing

• Analyze business needs and design technical solutions

• Develop programs based on Oracle or client requirements within timelines

• Follow Oracle’s quality standards, tools, and processes

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation

• Comply with change control, audit, and compliance guidelines

• Ensure delivery of high-quality code

• Complete knowledge transfer at the end of assignments

• Share regular status updates with supervisors

• Submit timesheets and expense reports on time
