Job Description:

Fanatics is inviting passionate and driven students and fresh graduates to join its technology team as a Software Engineer Intern. This internship offers hands-on exposure to building scalable, user-focused digital solutions that support a global sports commerce ecosystem. Interns will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and gain practical experience across modern software development practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of software applications used across Fanatics platforms.

• Work closely with engineers, product teams, and designers to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Participate in coding, testing, debugging, and improving application performance.

• Follow clean coding standards and assist in maintaining technical documentation.

• Engage in learning sessions, sprint discussions, and team collaboration activities.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize code and workflows.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of core programming concepts and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.

• Basic knowledge of web technologies, databases, or APIs is an advantage.

• Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and development practices.

• Should have good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
