📌 Position Overview

YASH Technologies is inviting applications for the role of IT/OT Software Engineer. This opportunity is ideal for candidates passionate about bridging Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems within industrial and enterprise environments.

The selected candidate will work on integrating automation systems, enterprise applications, industrial devices, and data frameworks to ensure secure and efficient operational performance. This role offers exposure to industrial automation platforms, smart manufacturing environments, and next-generation Industry 4.0 technologies.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications integrating IT and OT systems.

• Support deployment and troubleshooting of PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and smart sensors.

• Enable smooth data exchange between shop-floor devices and enterprise platforms.

• Design and maintain structured data pipelines and middleware for system integration.

• Assist in building secure industrial network architectures.

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve IT/OT-related incidents.

• Participate in patch management, upgrades, and technical documentation.

• Work with industrial devices, edge gateways, and automation platforms as required.

• Ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed within OT environments.

🎓 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Computer Science

  • Electronics

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Information Technology

  • Mechatronics or related discipline

• 0–4 years of experience in IT, OT, or industrial automation domains

• Strong programming knowledge in Python, C#, or Node.js

• Familiarity with SCADA, MES, PLCs, IoT platforms, or industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, MQTT)

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and API integrations

• Basic understanding of industrial networking, cybersecurity, and system architecture

• Knowledge of ISA-88 and ISA-95 standards

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

⭐ Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

• Exposure to Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Beckhoff, or Schneider platforms

• Understanding of Industry 4.0 and edge computing concepts

• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity standards (ISA/IEC 62443)

• Experience with visualization tools like Power BI, Grafana, or Ignition
