Freshers Hiring: Data Scientist (Freshers) at Barclays

Eligibility Criteria :

Hold a degree in Data Science or a related field, or possess equivalent professional experience.
Have hands-on experience applying machine learning techniques—such as classification, regression, clustering, and NLP—to solve real-world business challenges. An interest in deep learning is a plus.
Be proficient in writing clean, efficient code while following best practices for code organization and reusability. Strong expertise in Python and SQL is essential.
Be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, demonstrating how data science solutions contribute to business value.
Be familiar with managing and organizing code in collaborative project environments.
Have experience using AWS tools, particularly SageMaker, for data science tasks.
Be well-versed in big data tools, with a focus on PySpark.
Have experience creating clear, informative data visualizations using tools such as Tableau (preferred), Power BI, or similar platforms.

Accountabilities:

Identifying, gathering, and extracting data from a variety of internal and external sources.
Cleaning, organizing, and transforming raw data to ensure its accuracy and readiness for analysis.
Building and maintaining data pipelines to automate the collection and processing of data.
Designing and applying statistical and machine learning models to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships within the data.
Creating and utilizing predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Collaborating with business teams to leverage data in driving value and enhancing decision-making processes.
