Roles and Responsibility :

A candidate in this role is responsible for understanding business requirements, seeking clarifications when needed, and creating necessary documentation. A candidate will develop, maintain, test, debug, and deploy code according to specified requirements. Additionally, A candidate will also analyze data requirements and create relevant test scenarios to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Working in an Agile application development environment, a candidate will follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and meet project deliverables on time. A candidate will be responsible to contribute to designing low-level components and break down tasks based on priority to meet deadlines effectively. By proactively identifying and addressing potential issues, A candidate will work to minimize risks and ensure smooth project execution.

Taking ownership of assigned tasks, a candidate must focus on delivering results efficiently and within set timelines. As an active team member, a candidate must participate in meetings and technical discussions to help develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions. A candidate must have ability to collaborate effectively ensures seamless coordination with other team members.

Continuous learning and skill enhancement are also important aspects of the role. A candidate should engage in upskilling, reskilling, and cross-skilling activities to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. A candidate must have strong communication skills help in clearly conveying ideas, discussing technical details, and working effectively within a team environment.

 

Cognizant – Exciting Opportunities for 2024 Freshers | Eligibility criteria : 

The eligibility criteria for this position apply to a candidate from the 2024 batch of B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech programs. However, streams such as Leather Technology, Food Technology, and Fashion Technology are not eligible.

A candidate must have a consistent academic record, maintaining a minimum of 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG, and PG (if applicable). Rounding off 59.9% is not allowed. At the time of joining, A candidate must also have a minimum aggregate of 60% in their current degree with no standing arrears. The CGPA to percentage conversion will be considered based on the respective university norms.

A candidate with standing arrears are not eligible to apply. A candidate must also be flexible to work from any Cognizant office location, following assigned shift timings and technologies as required by the company.

This opportunity is open to Indian nationals, OCIs, and PIOs currently residing in India.

All communications regarding the hiring process will be sent only to the registered email ID in Superset. It must be a candidate’s  personal email ID, which will be treated as the primary contact. This email should not be changed at any point during the hiring process or until Full-Time Employment (FTE) onboarding.

 

Mandatory documents for registration:

A candidate must submit mandatory documents during registration. A resume with the latest passport-size photograph attached is mandatory. Additionally, if an industry-accredited certificate is available, it must be uploaded without exception. These documents play a essential role in the registration process, ensuring a candidate’s  eligibility and qualifications are properly recorded. The resume should be up to date, reflecting all relevant details, while the industry-accredited certificate serves as proof of additional expertise. Mandatory documents for interview:

A candidate must provide mandatory documents for the interview process. This involves all academic documents such as school and college mark sheets, UG and PG mark sheets, and the provisional or degree certificate. If available, the college ID card should also be presented. These documents are essential for verifying the candidate’s educational qualifications and ensuring eligibility. It is important to carry original copies along with necessary photocopies as per the interview guidelines. Mandatory documents for onboarding:

PAN card. This is a mandatory requirement for onboarding. Please ensure that your last name, father’s name, and other details are accurate. Please note that background verification will fail if the last name is not updated or if the PAN card name does not match the registered name.Voter Id card / Passport will be mandatory to verify citizenship.
