About the Role
We are hiring an Associate Linux Support Engineer to support enterprise customers using Linux and open-source technologies. This role is best suited for engineers who enjoy problem-solving, learning new systems, and working directly with users in a technical support environment.
You will be responsible for handling real-world infrastructure issues across cloud, server, desktop, and IoT platforms while collaborating with a globally distributed engineering team.

What You’ll Be Doing
Handle incoming technical support requests via multiple communication channels
Diagnose and resolve Linux system, configuration, and performance issues
Investigate logs, crashes, and system behavior to identify root causes
Take ownership of support tickets until resolution
Coordinate with senior engineers for complex technical problems
Ensure customer issues are resolved within defined service timelines
Document solutions, workflows, and troubleshooting steps
Share learnings and improvements with the wider support team
Participate in scheduled weekend or on-call rotations
Continuously build knowledge as tools and platforms evolve
What We’re Looking For
Strong academic performance and technical aptitude
Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Hands-on exposure to Linux environments
Working knowledge of any two or more of the following:
Linux administration and system troubleshooting
Programming or scripting (Bash, Python, C/C++, Go, JavaScript)
Networking fundamentals and system configurations
Virtualization or cloud infrastructure concepts
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, customer-focused role
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable collaborating with global and multicultural teams
Willingness to travel internationally a few times per year for company events
Preferred Skills
Experience with virtualization tools (KVM, VMware, VirtualBox)
Familiarity with open-source ecosystems and tools
Contributions to technical communities or projects
Exposure to containers or cloud platforms
